Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Allen, TX
Job Type: Full time – Temp to hire
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments of electronic components, ensuring accurate packaging, labeling, and inventory management. Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin is a plus to support communication with suppliers and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Shipping & Receiving: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and documentation.
• Packaging & Labeling: Properly package sensitive electronic components to prevent damage during transit. Accurately label products according to customer requirements.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and update warehouse management systems (WMS) as needed.
• Quality Control: Check for damaged or defective items and report to management.
• Warehouse Operations: Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
• General Support: Provide assistance in other warehouse duties as assigned, including order picking, stocking, and material handling.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, preferably in an electronics distribution environment.
• Knowledge of handling and packaging sensitive electronic components.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and barcode scanning.
• Ability to read and follow packing lists, invoices, and shipping documents.
• Must speak and communicate in English (bilingual in Mandarin is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
• Ability to use manual or electric pallet jack.
• Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
Working Conditions
• Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
• Requires standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• Use safety equipment is required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must pass 7-year background check.
