Job Summary: Join our dedicated team as a Construction Worker, where you'll play a vital role in general construction, concrete removal, and interior demolition. This position requires operating essential power tools and assisting equipment operators both on-site and independently while prioritizing safety and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cutting tasks using saw and remove concrete and asphalt with tools such as jackhammers and burke bars.
- Perform demolition work, including the removal of drywall, metal/wood stud walls, drop ceilings, pipes, and conduit.
- Work collaboratively with teams or take the initiative to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret job tickets and safety plans, while executing daily safety pre-task plans.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch and supervisors regarding job progress and any requirements.
- Ensure a clean and organized work area while caring for tools and equipment.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Be open to occasional travel for out-of-town assignments as required.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Experience using pneumatic and electric jackhammers, rivet busters, and other power tools.
- A safety-oriented mindset with excellent situational awareness.
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team or independently.
- Strong verbal communication skills and understanding of job site documentation.
