Two Special Education Teachers are needed to support elementary students in self-contained K-3 classrooms. This contract position for the full school year offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a small group of students within a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities include: Designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students Collaborating with a paraprofessional assigned to assist with classroom instruction Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies to meet unique learning needs Maintaining clear records and communicating regularly with families and school staff Creating a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters academic and social development Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with K-3 students in self-contained settings preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals and other educational team members Strong organizational and communication skills Commitment to supporting student growth and individual learning styles Location: Elementary school setting in Louisburg, NC.
