Product Manager – Industrial Electric Actuators

We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager to lead the strategic direction, roadmap, and lifecycle management of a portfolio of industrial electric actuators and accessories. This role is both strategic and hands-on, bridging technical and commercial teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet market demands and support long-term business growth. The position is based full-time at a facility in Newtown, PA, reporting to the Director of Marketing & Application Engineering. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Roadmap · Define and execute product strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends. · Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap focused on customer needs and technology evolution. Market & Customer Insight · Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities. · Gather and translate Voice of the Customer (VOC) into product features and enhancements. · Map and improve the customer journey, ensuring a seamless user experience. Product Development & Lifecycle · Lead cross-functional teams through all product development phases from concept to post-launch. · Manage the full product lifecycle, including enhancements, cost optimizations (VAVE), and end-of-life planning. · Ensure backward compatibility and support for long-term product viability (15+ years). Financial & Business Management · Develop business cases with ROI and payback analysis for new products and upgrades. · Monitor product profitability and support pricing strategies that achieve margin targets. Sales & Marketing Support · Partner with sales and marketing to develop go-to-market strategies, training, and promotional materials. · Support key customer engagements and represent the product at trade shows and events. Technical Leadership · Act as the internal expert on actuator technologies, industry standards, and application requirements. · Collaborate with engineering to define specifications and ensure regulatory compliance. Qualifications · 8+ years in product management, engineering, or technical marketing within industrial/manufacturing sectors. · Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems and industrial automation. · Experience working with customers in sectors such as water/wastewater, power, steel, or mining is a plus. · Solid financial acumen, project management skills, and customer-focused mindset. · Familiarity with PLM tools, ERP systems, and Agile methodologies preferred. · Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills. Education · Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering required. · MBA or equivalent business experience preferred.
