Seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification for a K-12 school setting in Oakland, CA. This contract position covers the Extended School Year (ESY) as well as the upcoming next school year. The role is ideal for a licensed SLP ready to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students across all grade levels.

Qualifications and Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred Ability to deliver individualized speech and language therapy to diverse student populations Strong collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and support staff Willingness to provide or receive supervision; Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be considered if appropriate supervision can be established Location: Oakland, California, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments for students referred for evaluation Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy sessions Monitor student progress and provide regular updates to educational teams and families Participate in team meetings, assist with staff training, and support communication goals within the school environment Provide services during the Extended School Year program as well as the regular academic year Perks and Benefits: Opportunity to impact student communication skills and academic success Experience working within a supportive educational community Contract position with potential for continued employment over multiple school years Qualified candidates interested in providing essential speech and language services in a thriving school environment are encouraged to apply.
