Engineering Project Administrator – Strategic Projects Group Location: Denver, CO Employment Type: Full-Time Contract Duration: 12 Months (Strong potential for extension or permanent hire) Work Schedule: Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday through Thursday; Remote Mondays and Fridays (as work permits) Project Overview System One is seeking multiple Engineering Project Administrators to support major capital energy infrastructure projects with Strategic Projects Group. These long-term contract roles will provide critical administrative and coordination support on high-impact initiatives such as new wind farms, solar projects, repowerings, and other major builds exceeding $15 million in scope. You’ll work closely with project managers, lead engineers, and construction teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of engineering documentation across the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Process engineering drawings, RFI submittals, and other critical project documentation. Manage shared email inboxes to coordinate requests, responses, and updates. Track and manage deadlines using OneNote and ensure timely routing of drawings and documents. Follow up on approvals and ensure information is returned to suppliers on time. Support the creation and distribution of physical project documentation (printing, packaging large format drawings, preparing 11x17 bound project books). Interface regularly with internal project stakeholders, including PMs, engineers, and construction personnel. Maintain organized documentation systems using SharePoint, Teams, and other Microsoft Office applications. Required Skills & Qualifications 2–4 years of experience supporting engineering or construction projects (preferably on-site). Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and track multiple deliverables and deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, OneNote, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and Adobe Pro/Bluebeam for PDF modification. Familiarity with ProjectWise or similar document control platforms is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable performing both desk-based work and physical tasks (e.g., printing, packaging documentation). Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented, proactive mindset.
