Schedule Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (flexible to 10-hour day) Job Description The Cardiac Sonographer will be responsible for performing echocardiograms to evaluate cardiac conditions and assist in procedures involving the heart. This role requires proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment, exceptional patient care, and collaboration with healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Conduct echocardiograms to assess cardiac pathology, including congenital heart disease, valvular heart disease, and coronary heart disease. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort throughout examinations. Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality heart images and surrounding blood vessels. Maintain patient records and document findings, collaborating with physicians for analysis. Support physicians during invasive procedures, such as cardiac catheterizations and transesophageal echocardiograms. Respond to emergency examinations in various settings, including intensive care units and operating rooms. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Technical proficiency in performing and interpreting echocardiograms accurately. Attention to detail for precise measurements and patient data recording. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Associate's or bachelor's degree in diagnostic medical sonography or a related field. Relevant certification (e.g., RDCS or RCS) required. Why ARMStaffing?
