Head Coach - 18U AAA
The New Jersey Titans are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Coach to lead one of our 18U AAA teams in the Atlantic Youth Hockey League. This is a high-performance role focused on player development, team culture, and competitive excellence.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a season-long training and competition plan aligned with USA Hockey's American Development Model (ADM) Recruit and select players who embody the Titans' values of hard work, grit, and teamwork Lead on-ice practices, off-ice conditioning, and video sessions Coordinate with assistant coaches, goalie coaches, and strength & conditioning staff Conduct regular video analysis, player evaluations, and team meetings Foster a positive, respectful, and development-focused team environment Promote player advancement to junior, collegiate, and professional levels Represent the Titans professionally at all required league events, showcases, and tournaments
Qualifications:
USA Hockey Coaching Education Program (CEP) certification (Level 4 or higher preferred) Completion of SafeSport training and background screening Proven coaching experience at the AAA, junior, or collegiate level Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to mentor and motivate athletes both on and off the ice Familiarity with video breakdown tools and performance analytics
Compensation will be determined based off of experience and an interview with team owners
