40 hours, Monday Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., may include nights and/or weekend hours as needed LOCATION:

444 Harrison Ave, Boston MA and other Pine Street Inn sites as needed SUMMARY OF THE POSITION: The Associate Director of Housing Navigation provides leadership and guidance to the Housing Navigation staff and is responsible for the success of the operations and specific outcomes. This position will supervise Housing Placement management staff and collaborate closely with other Housing Placement teams and departments at Pine Street Inn. The programs primary goal is to move individuals from homelessness into permanent housing. The program currently operates with several complex funding sources. The Associate Director will be responsible for understanding and ensuring compliance to all rules and regulations related to funding sources. The Associate Director, in collaboration with the Director of Housing Navigation, will work to develop consistent policies and procedures for delivering services. The Associate Director will identify issues within the program that need to be addressed to ensure outcomes, producing reports and analyzing data from HMIS and working with the Director to identify and implement solutions. The Associate Director may be asked to represent PSI at City working groups and other relevant work groups as needed. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/TRAINING

: REQUIRED: BSW, BA or BS in a human services related field or at least three (3) years of equivalent experience in a social service setting PREFERRED: MSW or a Masters Degree in human services related field Bi-lingual in either Spanish or Haitian Creole KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED: Five or more years of human services experience Minimum of four (4) years of leadership and/or supervisory experience Practical experience in client assessment, diversion, mediation, negotiation, motivational interviewing, trauma informed care, crisis prevention and intervention, household budgeting, rapid re-housing and service planning, recovery services including mental health, substance use/abuse and traumatic brain injury Working knowledge of human services systems, housing subsidy programs, and resources for homeless individuals Strong planning and organizational skills, and ability to work well with managers, peers, subordinates and internal and external partners PREFERRED: Experience navigating systems of housing and care for homeless individuals Experience in housing search Experience accessing local housing opportunities and subsidy programs for homeless individuals Working Knowledge of Housing First and Rapid Rehousing
