About the Role: This role involves developing innovative methods for process formulas, technologies, and parenteral products, including scale-up, formulation, process optimization, technology transfer, and validation. The candidate will lead formulation procedures, maintain knowledge of current principles, and advise senior leadership on development strategies. The position requires interfacing with device/combination product development and mentoring team members. Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to): Lead CMC formulation and drug process development for clinical candidates Implement innovative pharmaceutical development approaches Guide cross-functional teams on development programs Supervise and mentor laboratory personnel Address complex technical challenges Present research findings internally and externally Requirements: BS/BA with 15+ years, MS/MA with 13+ years, or PhD with 10+ years of experience Deep expertise in biochemical formulation science Proven problem-solving and strategic translation skills Influence industry issues and demonstrate leadership in drug development Experience with pharmaceutical drug process development, cGMP, and regulatory standards Parenteral manufacturing experience, team leadership, and mentoring skills Strong laboratory and productivity skills #LI-DM1 Neurocrine Biosciences is an EEO/Disability/Vets employer.
