You'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and DoD cybersecurity standards, as well as developing and maintaining System Security Plans (SSPs) and supporting documentation. The candidate must have an active DoD security clearance (minimum Secret, prefer Top Secret). The company is located in Rosslyn, VA and will be 5 days onsite. What You Will Be Doing Implement and enforce security controls as directed by the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) Support engineers during deployment to customer environments Act as the primary liaison to Government agencies on security matters and authorization processes Coordinate with external auditors and assessors during system evaluations and inspections Perform routine vulnerability scans, risk assessments, and compliance audits Monitor system activity, investigate security incidents, and lead remediation efforts Conduct security impact assessments for system updates and contribute to documentation Provide hands-on security support for internal project teams and external customers Lead routine security awareness training sessions for staff Review user access regularly and manage access control systems to preserve system integrity Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity experience in a government contracting environment DoD 8140/8570 IAM Level II certification (Security+ or equivalent) required Demonstrated experience implementing NIST 800-171 and NIST 800-53 controls Proven success preparing Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages In-depth knowledge of network security, system hardening, and vulnerability management Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools and security monitoring solutions Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis now and in the future.
