ITI Program-Level Software Systems Engineer Location:
Hybrid in Huntsville, AL Status:
Full-time; Exempt Position Description: This role supports the IFMC AMD Mission Command Product Office, focusing on Army Air and Missile Defense systems and Mission Command systems. Responsibilities include developing system features related to THAAD integration with the Army IBCS, describing MEI and CSCI behavior, performance, and acceptance criteria for software implementation. The role involves leading reviews, adjudicating comments, and using an MBSE approach within an Agile workflow. Required Qualifications: Must be a US citizen and willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL at own expense. Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field. At least 7 years of system engineering experience. Experience in one or more of the following areas: THAAD or IBCS systems Tactical command and control or weapons systems Tactical sensor systems Software and hardware development Requirements decomposition MBSE tools Proven initiative and teamwork skills in a small team environment. Comfortable working in an Agile environment and engaging stakeholders to meet user needs. Highly organized with a strong technical background in system engineering principles. Additional Qualifications: Experience supporting DoD programs, especially Army Air and Missile Defense. Hands-on experience with Cameo or MagicDraw, SysML, and UAF. Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and SAFe Agile practices. Security Requirements: US Citizenship and a minimum DoD Secret Clearance required.
