What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Drive model-informed drug discovery and development (MIDD) initiatives to enhance pipeline impact - Develop and execute pharmacometric models including population pharmacokinetics, PK/PD models, and clinical trial simulations - Author or co-author strategic regulatory documents and represent the team at regulatory meetings - Frame critical drug development questions and implement novel quantitative approaches - Collaborate with scientists to continuously strengthen pharmacometrics capabilities
What is Required (Qualifications): - Ph.D. or equivalent degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience; or PharmD with at least 5 years of experience; or MS with at least 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical drug development or academia - Educational background in pharmacometrics, biopharmaceutics, pharmaceutical sciences, mathematics, statistics, computational biology/chemistry, or a related field - Proficiency in performing pharmacometrics analyses such as population PK, PKPD, and exposure-response models - Knowledge of drug development, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacology principles - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and lead drug/vaccine development programs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Proficiency in standard pharmacometric software (e.g., R, NONMEM, Monolix, Matlab) - Strong skills in experimental design, mathematical problem solving, and critical data analysis - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration - Good interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and productive interactions - Experience with regulatory submissions and knowledge of global regulatory expectations
