Duties
Lead and manage acquisitions for private equity funds Oversee all aspects of transactional work including leveraged buyouts, minority and junior capital investments, rollups, and "going private" deals Advise clients on complex private equity structuring and fund formation Collaborate with a national team of over 90 attorneys within the Corporate and Private Equity practice Serve as lead associate in negotiations, drafting, and closings Engage with clients directly and independently Requirements
5–7 years of experience in private equity acquisitions Demonstrated ability to independently lead transactions Licensed and in good standing with the
Texas State Bar Strong academic credentials Exceptional writing and oral communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a national team Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school Certifications
Admission to the
State Bar of Texas
(active and in good standing) Skills
