We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Principal Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of our Risk capabilities across our Intuit Consumer Group lending portfolio.
This is a critical, high-impact role responsible for the end-to-end product strategy and execution across the entire Risk lifecycle – encompassing customer acquisition, application processing, underwriting, ongoing monitoring, and fraud prevention. You will be instrumental in building and managing innovative, data-driven Risk capabilities that enable sustainable business growth, mitigate losses from both credit and fraud, and maintain a secure and positive customer experience for users of our Consumer Group products.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within Intuit including Engineering, Credit Policy, Fraud Strategy, Data Science, Operations, Business Development, and other Product Managers to define the future of Risk management for our Consumer Group lending products.

Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Vision:
Own and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Risk capabilities across our Intuit Consumer Group lending portfolio. Identify, define, validate, and prioritize opportunities based on customer needs, business impact, and technical feasibility. Thought Leadership:
Act as the product thought leader for Intuit Consumer Group Lending Risk. Identify critical customer and business requirements related to creditworthiness and fraud prevention, understand business goals, define the desired end-state product experience, and partner with development teams to design scalable solutions. Lifecycle Management:
Oversee the product lifecycle for Risk capabilities, including: Acquisition and Underwriting: Define strategies for identity verification, fraud screening, creditworthiness assessment, application flows, integration of data sources, and deployment of AI/ML models for fraud detection and credit decisioning. Portfolio Management and Monitoring: Develop capabilities for risk monitoring, automated detection, dynamic controls, customer exposure management, and features supporting account lifecycle events. Customer Focus:
Conduct customer research and usability studies to understand risk and fraud-related friction points and security needs. Champion the customer perspective throughout the product lifecycle. Data-Driven Execution:
Define and track KPIs for credit performance and fraud mitigation. Use data to inform prioritization, communicate progress, and demonstrate success. Cross-Functional Leadership:
Lead collaboration within teams including Engineering, Data Science, Credit Policy, Fraud Strategy, Design, Marketing, and others to ensure successful product discovery, development, and launch. Roadmap Execution:

10+ years of product management experience in risk or fraud solutions for consumer lending, preferably in FinTech or financial services. Deep understanding of credit risk domains across the lending lifecycle and familiarity with AI/ML applications. Proven ability to define product vision, strategy, and influence long-term direction. Strong customer focus, with experience working closely with users and partners. Proficiency in managing complex programs with multiple dependencies. Excellent collaboration and leadership skills across diverse teams. Effective communication skills for varied audiences. Strong analytical skills and a data-driven decision-making approach. BS or technical degree preferred or relevant work experience. Intuit offers a competitive compensation package, including base pay, bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits.
