IT Systems Administrator Business Applications

We are seeking an IT Systems Administrator who will maintain, administer, and support our application portfolio across the Laitram companies. This includes foundational functions such as application support and software lifecycle management for our global organization. This position will support various applications such as Infor XA, SolidWorks/EPDM, Epicor, Autodesk, Rockwell, and others. The ideal candidate will be inquisitive, technical-minded, and enjoy troubleshooting and root cause analysis. They will work collaboratively with IT and Business teams to maintain the technology solutions supporting our fast-paced engineering teams. This position reports to the IT Application Services Supervisor and works closely with the Business Applications Team. Responsibilities: Configure, maintain, and monitor our software application portfolio. Document baseline configurations and troubleshooting steps for IT support resources. Support application lifecycle activities such as patching and upgrades. Contribute to incident root cause analysis. Manage application license utilization. Collaborate with vendors on support and escalation. Create Change Management documentation and maintain the CMDB. Research and implement automated system administration solutions. Participate in ITS/DS projects for new and upgraded systems. Manage vendor relationships, support service selection, and contract renewals. Travel internationally as needed. Participate in a 24x7 On-Call rotation. Act as primary administrator for applications such as Rockwell, warehouse scanners, cellular gateways, and Kronos clocks. Requirements: Bachelors degree in a technical field or minimum 4 years of proven IT experience. Experience in application support. Familiarity with Windows PowerShell. Self-managed with the ability to work independently and in a global team. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on business needs. Strong analytical skills and ability to perform root cause analysis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%, including occasional weekends or holidays. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, use ladders, bend, stoop, and operate hand tools. Desired Qualifications: MD-101: Managing Modern Desktops. Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT management tools for ticket tracking and resolution.
