Overview

Job ID: 3084483 | Amazon.com Services LLC At eero, our mission is to serve as the central nervous system of the home. We began by revolutionizing home WiFi and now create comprehensive solutions for wireless and wired connectivity for customers and businesses worldwide. Our cross-functional team—spanning hardware, software, and manufacturing—develops advanced Ethernet switching and gateway products with state‑of‑the‑art security features to complement our award‑winning mesh WiFi systems. As an Amazon company, we combine startup culture with the resources and stability of a global technology leader. Our team builds products that customers love—from mesh routers to high‑performance wired networking devices—and we’re looking for you to help shape the future of the connected home. We are a small team with a big impact: ensuring each product we build is good for our customers. Being part of Operations means participating in product development and the execution of each build. The Manufacturing Test Engineer is responsible for the manufacturing test infrastructure for all eero hardware products, from early concept prototype builds through sustaining production and reverse logistics, while maintaining an infrastructure that touches manufacturing partners through our cloud and data team. A passion for continuous process improvement is required to reduce cycle time and increase test coverage by applying best practices and using production and field data to inform design decisions. Key responsibilities

Own factory test line at FATP; develop software ecosystem including physical test controllers, big data reporting systems, security certificate management, and cloud infrastructure. Define modular test strategies and limits, analyze testability of new products, and deliver test solutions to support the new product introduction process at eero’s manufacturing partners. Develop, qualify, and execute RF system testing, board-level calibration, desense testing, power testing, and ensure production control processes, data analysis/interpretation (GR&R, Cp/Cpk, and correlation analysis) are applied. Automate a wide range of processes (e.g., automated optical inspection, radio validation, electrical testing, interoperability assessment, robotics automation). Compile and analyze production test data using automated and exploratory big data analysis techniques. Drive factory test quality improvements and test savings through corrective actions by monitoring functional test yield and leading weekly in-region factory calls. Guide hardware; ensure test fixtures are designed for cost, scale, and schedule. Engage in RFQ between eero, test vendors, and CM for end-to-end testing solutions. Travel to Asia to deliver test solutions to manufacturing partners and work with in-region counterparts at CM to triage and resolve issues. Introduce test processes, monitor functional test yield, and take corrective actions to drive smooth production. Expand the current Python test software code base for next-generation products. Provide feedback to eero Hardware and Software/Firmware teams to ensure future products are designed for efficient and high-quality manufacturing. Lead DOEs to root-cause test-station-related failures (DUT, setup, or implementation). Communicate project status updates to stakeholders, including team members and executives within eero and OEMs. Travel up to 25%, including domestic and international trips. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
