Head of Production and Content, Amazon Seller Events leads the creative, technical, and editorial execution of global seller events to ensure on-stage, on-screen, and video content resonates with Amazon’s selling partners worldwide. The Amazon Seller Events team produces experiences that strengthen relationships with Amazon’s independent sellers and drive real impact by connecting sellers with experts, facilitating interactive dialogue, and delivering compelling content—including product announcements, success stories, and actionable insights—to educate, inspire, and empower sellers to grow their businesses. Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development: Build and scale a high-performing production, content, and video team; define org structure; set vision and goals; mentor and foster creative excellence and operational discipline; establish a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability; partner with other Amazon teams to ensure collaboration and shared success. Production Leadership: Own end-to-end production lifecycle from concept through onsite execution and post-event wrap; develop production playbooks and standards; oversee technical production design to deliver polished experiences; serve as executive producer for flagship moments; manage risks and contingency plans; drive adoption of new tools and technologies; create scalable models for multiple events. Content Strategy & Management: Oversee content programming aligned with goals and audience needs; shape agendas and keynotes; collaborate with communications on speaker and storytelling development; participate in content reviews; leverage data to improve content effectiveness. Video & Storytelling: Lead in-house video team from concept to marketing strategy; ensure cohesive storytelling across live, pre-recorded, and on-demand content; innovate with new formats; ensure alignment with brand guidelines and standards. Operational Excellence: Define success metrics; build scalable operations for multiple events; drive post-event debriefs with insights; monitor industry trends; manage vendor relationships and contracts; anticipate challenges and make informed tradeoffs; act as thought leader in event production and content strategy. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 10+ years of program or project management experience 7+ years of managing teams Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization Proven success delivering large-scale event production (stage, AV, broadcast, or video) with measurable impact Ability to develop and execute content strategies for live or digital events Strong project management skills with multiple complex initiatives Experience influencing and collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders Proficiency in using data and analytics to measure success and inform decisions Ability to travel up to 30% and work across multiple time zones Preferred Qualifications 5+ years producing global-scale, high-visibility events Expertise in content development workflows (agenda design, speaker prep, editorial reviews, content QA) Ability to move between strategic vision, creative ideation, and operational execution Thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments; proactively removes blockers and makes independent decisions Exceptional executive communication skills with experience leading leadership reviews, show direction, and post-event debriefs Demonstrated ability to innovate while driving operational excellence and process improvement Passion for storytelling and audience engagement with a track record of creating impactful experiences Company & Equal Opportunity
