Key Responsibilities
Safety Leadership
Champion workplace safety by identifying and eliminating hazards. Ensure full compliance with OSHA standards and company safety protocols. Lead weekly toolbox talks and safety updates. Production Management
Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and customer requirements. Manage resources, staffing, and workflows for optimal output. Communicate shift performance metrics and forecasts to leadership. Performance & Continuous Improvement
Monitor KPIs, earned ratios, and operational efficiency. Implement and sustain process improvements to boost productivity. Address performance issues promptly and fairly. Training & Development
Support cross-training programs to create a flexible, skilled workforce. Track training progress and support career growth for team members. Facility & Equipment Oversight
Conduct routine equipment inspections and ensure timely repairs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment. Communication & Leadership
Lead pre-shift meetings and post-shift performance reviews. Collaborate with Scheduling, Materials, Engineering, and HR teams. Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment and uphold company standards. Required Qualifications:
Minimum
5 years of leadership or supervisory experience
in
sheet metal fabrication or machining . Proven ability to enforce policies and provide fair, timely feedback. Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Experience with manufacturing processes, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office. Data-driven decision-making skills to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.). Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative leadership style. Why Join Us
