STAFF SERVICES MANAGER II (SUPERVISORY)

Under the supervision and direction of the Executive Director of the CA Hope Board (HOPE or Board), the Staff Services Manager II (Sup) (SSM II) is responsible for the supervision of staff in the HOPE office, managing administrative functions in support of the Executive Director and the Board, and providing daily support and leadership on program related matters. The SSM II participates in the formulation and establishment of policies and procedures for the HOPE Board and operations, plans improvements to program, oversees audit functions, identifies program and policy needs, proposes recommendations to the Executive Director and the Board, and establishes and enforces HOPE policies. Represents HOPE in contracts with vendors, consultants, and contractors. At the direction of the Executive Director, may represent the Board to officials of federal, state, and local governments, legislators, members of the State Treasurer's staff, private sector organizations and the general public. Ensures the Board and program goals and objectives are met through extensive communication with all involved parties.
