Food Service Worker

Our client, a leading organization in the food service industry, is seeking a Food Service Worker to join their team. As a Food Service Worker, you will be part of the culinary and hospitality support team supporting food preparation, sanitation, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Ishpeming, MI

Pay Range: $15.79 - $17.79 per Hour

Shift: Day shift, 6AM-2:30PM or 10AM-7PM. Weekends required.

What's the Job?

• Prepare food for an industrial kitchen, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
• Maintain and sanitize work areas, equipment, and service ware according to established procedures.
• Deliver food service trays and stock food and supplies to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and deliver food trays, paying close attention to dietary restrictions and accuracy.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and handle service ware cleaning following safety protocols.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Ability to think critically, make decisions, and work independently.
• Comfortable working in stressful environments and taking appropriate action.
• Preferred 12 years of food service experience.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, computer data entry systems, and customer service etiquette is a plus.
