About the Role

Gillett Construction is seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. In this role, you’ll prepare and analyze construction cost estimates, review design specifications, and coordinate closely with project managers, clients, and vendors. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are accurately scoped, budgeted, and delivered on track.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for concrete, drywall, and general contracting projects

• Review design specifications, blueprints, and project requirements

• Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and clients to confirm scope and pricing

• Maintain accurate estimate records and track financial performance against budgets

• Source and negotiate pricing with vendors and suppliers

• Provide insight and recommendations to improve project efficiency and cost-effectiveness

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience in estimating for concrete, drywall, or general contracting

• Strong background in reviewing design documents and coordinating with construction teams

• Proficiency in construction management software and estimating tools

• Excellent communication skills for client and vendor interactions

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Previous experience in the construction industry preferred

• Must be local to Las Vegas, NV and able to work on-site
