  • Seeking an Anesthesiologist to join a strong Anesthesiology practice in a dynamic community that is economically, culturally, and socially inviting. The current need is for one Anesthesiologist to join the group's current Anesthesiologist to work either a schedule of 26 weeks per year (generally on a two-on, two-off rotation) or 13 weeks per year (generally 1-on and three-off rotation)
  • Call will be 1:2 or 1:3 respectively and will coincide with the two-on, two-off rotation or 1-on 3-off rotation.
  • The physician will be an employee of the hospital and will receive a highly competitive salary.
  • The hospital will provide an annual allowance for licensing, dues and subscriptions, and CME.

  • About the Anesthesia practice:
  • Number of CRNAs: 5
  • Number of Anesthesiologists: 2
  • Number of OR suites: 5
  • Number of OR suites running: 4 regularly
  • Number of cases per year: approximately 2500
  • Percentage of hands on work: approximately 10 percent
  • Percentage of supervision work: approximately 90 percent
  • Case make up:
  • OB/GYN 15 %
  • General, Urology, Ophthalmology, ENT 50%
  • Orthopedics 30%
  • Thoracic 2%
  • Other 3%
  • Qualifications:
  • Board Certified or board eligible
  • Allopathic and osteopathic physicians will be considered equally
  • American born and trained physicians and foreign-born physicians who have completed a US residency and/or fellowship will be considered equally.
  • H1-B Visa candidates will be considered.
  • In-practice physicians, residents or fellows, and military-trained physicians will be considered equally
  • Financial Package:
  • The incoming physician will be an employee of the hospital and will receive a highly competitive salary.
  • The hospital will pay the majority of the health insurance premiums for the physician.
  • Other levels of health insurance coverage are also available with a generous contribution from the hospital.
  • The hospital will pay the full amount of malpractice insurance.
  • Additionally, the hospital will pay for licensing and up to $600/year for dues and subscriptions for their practice.
  • The hospital will provide CME reimbursement of up to $2,500 per year and relocation assistance.
  • Educational loan repayment, if appropriate and applicable, is available.
  • Practice Characteristics: Specialists available at health system include: urology, general surgery, ophthalmology, neurology, all hospitalists practicing at Medical Center, and occupational medicine Access to Medical Center outpatient clinics including Cardiology, Pulmonary, Hematology/Oncology, Endocrinology, Neurosurgical, Ear, Nose and Throat, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Nephrology, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Podiatry, and Rheumatology, along with diabetes counseling and nutritional therapy Expectations Grow the practice by providing high quality, efficient inpatient and outpatient care. Communicate effectively on an ongoing basis with office-based referring primary care physicians, with specialists at tertiary referral centers by telephone, coordinating patient transfers to appropriate tertiary centers as medically necessary.About Health System:
