• Work 12-hour shifts (7A-7P or 7P-7A) with specific open dates in November
• Standard solo Emergency Room coverage
• Physicians typically see 18-20 patients in a 12-hour shift
• Total daily patient volume of 90-100 patients
• Work alongside 2 mid-level providers in a split coverage model
• Open ICU setting
• Provider must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS (mandatory requirement)
• Requires active North Carolina medical license
• Board certification required
• Must have ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• 24-hour availability of support services including Anesthesia, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology
• Hospital-owned apartments provided for physician housing
• Travel costs capped at $500.00
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 14 days
