In this internship, you'll assist in improving the connection between our cutting-edge laboratories and our advanced information systems. You'll learn how to help researchers access and utilize the wealth of data generated across our organization, contributing to the efficiency of our scientific processes. As a member of the Biologics Data Core team, you will be tasked with supporting projects related to data foundation, governance, systems and advanced applications for the Large Molecule Research (LMR) group projects and its component teams specializing in Molecular Biology; Antibody Discovery; Protein Engineering and Production and Characterization.

You'll have the opportunity to dive into the drug discovery process, explore machine learning applications in pharmaceutical research, and hone practical skills in gathering requirements from scientists. You'll develop expertise in generating technical documentation, review data processing pipelines to understand how scientific data flows through the organization and gain valuable experience training other scientists on industry-leading data registration platforms. This internship combines scientific understanding with technical skills, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges while building connections with professionals across disciplines.

Main Responsibilities: Review, configure and utilize templates, visualizations, and data upload tools for Genedata Biologics, Pipeline Pilot, Spotfire and other data registration, pipelining, and analysis tools

Document tool and process utilization to a sufficient standard for current and new users of the informatics platform

Create intuitive and user-friendly guides for scientists to capture, update and investigate their data

Reviewing and addressing feedback and support related to informatics platform utilization

Generating proof-of-concept prototypes for data processing and automation

Working with scientists to resolve data management challenges

About You Basic Qualifications: Currently

enrolled and

pursuing a bachelor



s or master

’s degree in computer science, life sciences, or related field

at an accredited college or

university

with

the expectation that you will complete your

current degree

by

the

Spring of 202

Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship/co-op with Sanofi

Must be able to

relocate

to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship

st be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship

Familiarity with basic immunology and antibody therapeutic concepts

Preferred Qualifications: Fluency in SQL

Experience with a data pipelining application (eg Biovia Pipeline Pilot, Knime)

Experience working with biological registration systems (eg: Genedata Biologics / Benchling) or LIMS in general.

Experience with a variety of scientific analysis and BI software packages (eg Genedata Screener / Spotfire)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software

Strong organizational abilities, time management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially related to documentation and technical guidance
