Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Cath Lab Tech Medical Center of Aurora - Aurora, CO 7AM-5PM Weekend Rotating Call Location: Medical Center of Aurora Address: 1501 So. Potomac St. Aurora CO. 80012 Floor: 1st Building: South Campus General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - Cath lab 8 Holding Bays and 4 Cath / EP suites Number of Staff – 16 Type of staff: Day Shift - day shift 6:30 to 5:30 Night Shift - rotating on call Patient Ratios - 3 staff to 1 patient . Cath Lab procedural area Type of equipment – Philips Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab, CardioLab for EP EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. ARRT or RCIS ACLS, BLS 2 yrs. Cath Lab experience Scrub and monitoring skills and experience Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. EP /Structural Heart / Monitoring skills and Right Heart monitoring. Positive attitude List typical procedures performed on unit(s): LHC, RHC, EP ablations Pacers, ICD’s, Cardioversions, TEE’s Tilt Table Tests. Best personality Fit: Positive, not afraid to work hard Engaged in high quality pt. care Unit Guidelines/Policies : Must take on-call responsibilities with rest of team. Must be housed within 30 min of the Cath Lab. High functioning team, Engaged physicians , Strong structural heart program, Low call ratio, Beautiful Colorado mountains, Skiing, Great hospital / organizational culture. Must Have Requirements: ACLS 2 yrs. Cath Lab experience Scrub and monitoring skills and experience Preferred Skills: EP /Structural Heart / Monitoring skills and Right Heart monitoring.
