The selected candidate will work closely with classroom teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student access to the curriculum and promote independence and confidence. Key Qualifications and Experience: Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) credential required. Experience working with visually impaired students across K-12 grade levels. Ability to manage a caseload of no more than 20 students. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Knowledge of assistive technology and orientation and mobility techniques is preferred. Location: Harlingen, Texas Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and evaluations related to visual impairment. Provide direct instruction and support tailored to individual student needs. Train staff and families on strategies and tools to enhance student learning. Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with educational regulations.
