Overview
Warehouse Associate at Niagara Bottling. The role focuses on ensuring quality and efficiency in trailer loading/unloading, pallet handling, and safe warehouse operations. The team member may operate a forklift or LGV (Laser Guided Vehicle) and handling system, perform inbound/outbound checks, and maintain inventory accuracy per SOPs.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process all inbound orders into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for raw materials, pallets, ingredients, and internal transfers.
- Follow SOPs and guidelines for receiving, ensuring regulatory and safety compliance.
- Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA) efficiently and accurately.
- Validate new SKUs in the WMS to ensure proper storage and handling by LGVs.
- Clear blocked locations in WMS to maintain smooth operations.
- Coordinate with the Central Shipping Office (CSO) to ensure the flow of shipments in and out of the warehouse as per schedule.
- Compile records by SKU and quantities, validate Oracle EBS and WMS inventories against physical counts, investigate discrepancies, and report reasons for variances.
- Non-LGV duties: receive, process, and ship per SOPs; coordinate with CSO; perform inventory checks and discrepancy reporting.
- Routine tasks: rebuild damaged pallets, consolidate finished goods storage, identify and report quality issues, correct spills, pull pallets from production, supply non-inventory items, maintain clean and safe warehouse, and assist with loading/unloading as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications:
2 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment
2 years of experience in this position
2 years of experience managing people/projects
