Overview

Warehouse Associate — Bolingbrook, IL 60440 United States

Timing: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Mon to Fri). Contract: 0 – 2+ months (temp to engage). Pay Rate: $17.25/hr / Hour on W2 (All inclusive).

Responsibilities

• Combination of computer and floor work: primarily using Oracle and transportation management systems, updating daily spreadsheets, and scheduling carrier pickups.
• Admin tasks on the floor: applying shipping documents and packing slips to shipments, assisting with QA when needed.
• Unboxing copiers and parts, preparing copiers to be rolled into the shop; team lifting required for items over 50 lbs.
• Move between trailers, may involve bending, twisting, pushing and pulling; occasional heavy work; most of the day is active rather than stationary.
• Dress code adherence and attendance with potential for overtime; occasional Saturday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Looking for someone with warehouse clerk experience; UPS data entry and eye for detail.
• No experience is required, just an ability to lift up to 50 lbs and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment that is not 100% climate controlled.
• Ability to work in a cross-trained environment and be able to follow schedule, with good attendance.

Additional details

• Start time is 7:00 AM with a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks (one in the morning and one in the afternoon).
• Overtime may be required.
• Work environment may include being in and out of trailers.
• Safety and PPE: sneakers required; no lettering on shirts or sweatshirts; jeans permitted; sweatpants or stretch pants not allowed.
