Job Summary
The Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute is seeking an enthusiastic self-starter who is willing to provide a broad range of administrative support to the faculty, staff, and students at the Institute as a member of the Admin team.
Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Front office management
- Receive guests and direct visitors as receptionist.
- Maintain visitor area including kitchen.
- Maintain inventory and order office supplies as needed. Schedule conference room and office space upon request. Conference room care and support as needed.
- Process reimbursements for faculty, staff, and visitors not related to travel.
- Assist event management team with meetings, events, and visitors.
- Assist faculty with projects as requested.
- Schedule maintenance requests and surplus pick-up requests.
- Provide administrative support to RAI Initiative
- Support hiring, review processes, and event support in coordination with the event management team.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in business or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) and three years full-time secretarial experience required. Demonstrated human relations and effective written and verbal communication skills required. Knowledge of basic bookkeeping practices and direct supervisory experience preferred.

- Experience with Microsoft and Adobe software.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to learn quickly. Excellent organizational skills are a must.
- Must be customer service oriented and willing to go above and beyond occasionally.
