Employment Opportunity
We are seeking Unarmed Security Officers to join our team. You will play a critical role in supporting secure environments—whether at corporate offices, infrastructure hubs, or high-foot-traffic venues. You will be responsible for maintaining safety, enforcing protocols, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor.
- Conduct regular patrols (interior / exterior), including perimeter sweeps.
- Manage facility access points, verifying employee, visitor, and vendor credentials.
- Issue and track visitor badges; log vehicles and visitors accurately.
- Control vehicle access in garages or other parking areas.
- Operate communication tools (radio, mobile phone) to coordinate incidents and updates.
- Assist with building evacuations and lead individuals to muster points in emergencies.
- Observe, assess, and report suspicious behavior with accuracy and urgency.
- Maintain detailed records, logs, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum age: 18 years
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Valid California Guard Card
- Ability to pass a 5-panel drug test and background check
- Valid Driver’s License or State ID
- Strong ethics, professionalism, and sound judgment
- Intermediate computer and report-writing skills
- Must hold or be able to obtain all legally required permits / certifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior security or customer-facing experience preferred
Licensing, Certifications & Requirements
- Valid California Driver’s License or State ID - Note: If driving is required for the post, a valid California Driver License is mandatory
- CPR and First Aid certification (must be carried while on duty, we can assist with if needed)
- Valid Guard Registration card
