Armed Security Guard - Nights Job at Locke Supply Co in Oklahoma City

Overview

Locke Supply Company is hiring full-time licensed CLEET Armed Security Officer for the overnight shift. This role is located at our new 100-acre Distribution Center in Southeast Oklahoma City. The position is responsible for physical security, reporting on security activities, and ensuring the safety of our associates and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Document date/time incoming/outgoing traffic at the main gate, control vehicle, semi-truck, and pedestrian traffic on the property to maintain a safe environment
• Patrol buildings and grounds of the corporate offices, distribution center, and project houses
• Examine security of all man doors, windows, overhead doors and gates
• Warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering, smoking in unauthorized areas, and parking violations
• Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
• Watch and report irregularities: fire hazards, leaking overhead sprinkler pipes, security doors left unlocked
• Respond to alarms and call 911 for police/fire response in case of unauthorized persons or fire
• Complete daily activity reports and document property damage and/or unusual occurrences
• Note: considerable walking is required

Qualifications

• Licensed CLEET certified level-4 armed security with active $10,000 bond
• Annual firearms recertification
• 12-hour shifts: 6pm to 6am
• Good verifiable driving record
• Drug/Alcohol testing compliant with applicable statutes
