Site Supervisor/Lead (Corporal)
Supervises guards and security staff that protect sites against loss. In this career, your duties are also to ensure the safety of the people on the premises. Responsibilities include training security officers in proper security measures, performing site inspections and equipment inspections to confirm that the grounds and gear are all up to safety standards without the need for repair, and providing customer service to customers or guests who may require assistance. Responsible for scheduling security shifts. The primary function of a security field supervisor is to ensure that their sites are staffed and secure.

Security Officer Job Duties:
  • Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; and permitting entry.
  • Obtains help by sounding alarms.
  • Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; and restraining trespassers.
  • Controls traffic by directing drivers.
  • Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
  • Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Advising operations manager or director of equipment needs and assisting as needed with fulfilling requirements.
  • Communicate with site supervisors/leads in efforts to assist with staffing needs and coaching in lieu of discipline.
  • Scheduling, verifying and checking employee time to ensure hours are accurate on sites.
  • Advising operations managers or directors on equipment needs and assisting as needed with fulfilling requirements, training, developing a plan of action, or addressing other operational needs.


Site Supervisor/Lead Skills and Qualifications:
Exceptional experience or training required. Lifting, Surveillance Skills, Deals with Uncertainty, Judgment, Objectivity, Dependability, Emotional Control, Integrity, Safety Management, Professionalism, Reporting Skills. Leadership and coach with the passion to train new officers as well as communicating with clients service needs. Possess a good understanding of policy, self-motivation, ability to motivate others, organization, and resourcefulness.
