Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Designer/Drafter with a solid background in structural design for senior living (ILF/ALF), multifamily mid-rise developments, and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, and will support engineers in project delivery, ensuring all work meets internal quality standards, budgets, and timelines. This role involves extensive production drafting, document creation, and coordination with other disciplines across the firm. The candidate will work closely with engineers and project managers to produce schematic, design development, and construction documentation. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with engineers to develop structural plans and construction documents for new and renovation projects. Draft and edit layouts, diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD. Prepare structural design documentation for a variety of building types including senior living, healthcare, multifamily, and retail facilities. Support development of schematic design, design development, and construction documents. Perform calculations and assist with construction detailing as needed. Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure seamless integration of design elements. Maintain compliance with firm drafting standards, policies, and procedures. Qualifications Required: 3–5 years of experience with Revit and AutoCAD (2019 or later versions). Hands-on experience with structural design in a design-build environment. Proven track record in producing high-quality construction documents in the architectural/engineering field. Understanding of standard design practices, building codes, and construction techniques. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret and create technical documents and specifications. Strong coordination and team collaboration abilities. Preferred: Experience in large-scale Senior Living, ILF/ALF, and Multifamily Mid-rise projects. Proficiency in drafting across project phases: schematic design, design development, and construction documentation. Background in both new construction and renovation projects. Familiarity with multidisciplinary coordination processes. Technical Skills Software: Autodesk AutoCAD (2019) Autodesk Revit (2019) Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project) Education Degree in Architecture, Drafting/Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent job-related experience.
