Years of dedicated, quality service to our patients and community have yielded a reputation that fills our employees with pride.**Summary**The Human Resources Generalist will oversee and coordinate various Human Resources functions and provide support to all areas of the department and organization, including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, compensation, anti-discrimination, training and workforce development as needed. This role is also responsible for management of HR projects, ensuring compliance and reporting of governmental and labor reporting requirements and general HR duties. This includes administering employment policies and practices, developing and maintaining job descriptions and providing support in specialized HR functions as needed.**Essential Job Responsibilities****Human Resources Administration*** Administers and supports core HR programs including compensation, benefits, and leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, engagement and training and development.* Serves as a point of contact for employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex or sensitive matters to appropriate leadership.* Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.**Culture & Engagement*** Fosters a positive organizational culture through effective communication, employee engagement initiatives, change management, and teamwork across the MFB system.* Partners with leadership to support education and training efforts, facilitate the Employee Opinion Survey process, and drive awareness and action on survey outcomes.* Encourages collaboration and knowledge-sharing to promote team success and resolve issues that may hinder performance.**HR Metrics & Performance Management*** Oversees the development and maintenance of HR metrics and dashboards aligned with MFB’s strategic goals. Key indicators include headcount, turnover, engagement, diversity and inclusion, safety, and service excellence.* Supports the establishment of performance standards and behavioral expectations for employees and leaders. Assists in the creation and implementation of performance development and improvement plans.**Talent Acquisition*** Assists in the full cycle recruitment for assigned departments and job families, including sourcing, selection, and compliance for hires.* Builds and maintains relationships with external partners such as community organizations, colleges and universities to support talent pipelines. Collaborates with system host hospitals and support services (e.x. security/IT) to ensure smooth onboarding and lifecycle processes.* Maintains working knowledge of job descriptions requirements and its impacts on licensure compliance, and organizational charts.**Employee Relations & Compliance*** Participates in employee relations activities including disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.* Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations while regularly reviews and updates policies and practices.* Supports with data collection and reporting for compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Affirmative Action (AA), Department of Labor (DOL) and other regulatory requirements.* Advises leadership on employee relations matters, providing policy interpretation and recommendations consistent with hospital policies and standards.**Project Management & HR Operations*** Leads and supports HR projects and initiatives, including organization-wide rollouts and training sessions.
