Overview

Job title: Human Resources Manager at Tucson Rubberized Coatings. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a link between the company and employees by handling questions, promoting the company culture, and helping resolve work-related problems.
  • Advise employees on organizational policy matters, including customer service, safety, accountability, and general conduct.
  • Perform difficult staffing duties such as addressing understaffing, refereeing disputes, firing employees, and administering disciplinary procedures.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets for personnel operations.
  • Contract with vendors to provide employee services, temporary employment agencies, and facility support agencies.
  • Business Development & Employee Talent Management: Identify staffing needs, recruit, interview, and select applicants.
  • Prepare personnel forecasts to project employment needs.
  • Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, duties, working conditions, wages, promotion opportunities, and benefits.
  • Analyze data to identify causes of personnel problems and develop improvements to policies and practices.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, or coordinate personnel, training, or labor relations activities.
  • Maintain records and compile statistical reports on hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and attendance.
  • Customer Service & Training Support: Plan and conduct new employee orientation; analyze training needs and design development, heavy duty equipment operations training, and health and safety programs; conduct exit interviews; develop, administer, and evaluate applicant tests.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proficiency with computer-based training software (e.g., ADP Total Source; Microsoft Training), data-base reporting software (Sage 100; Fusion POS), email (Microsoft Outlook), Office suite, presentation software (PowerPoint), spreadsheet software (Excel), time accounting software (ADP ezLaborManager; ADP Pay eXpert), word processing (Word), accounting software (ADP Total Source), charting software (Microsoft Visio; Canva), compliance software (Stratitec TimeIPS), and process mapping/design software (Microsoft Visio).

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in psychology or human resources and 3 years of HR experience, or 6 years of HR experience in a leadership role.
  • 3–4 years of HR experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role, ideally in retail, warehouse, or manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of successful culture integration and change management.
  • In-depth knowledge of interview and recruiting strategies.
  • Strong social, communication, and presentation skills; ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Preferred Qualifications: 6 years of HR experience; multi-unit leadership/management experience; knowledge of training and development presentation methods for group or classroom settings.

Position Details

Location: Tucson, AZ

Compensation:

  • $70,000–$80,000 annual salary
