Under the direction and supervision of the HRIS Manager, the HRIS Business Analyst serves as a key analytical and strategic partner for HR technology initiatives, driving data-driven decision making while ensuring operational excellence in HRIS management. Plays a critical role in system optimization and implementation projects while translating complex workforce data into actionable business insights.
Responsibilities Analyze workforce trends, metrics, and data patterns to identify operational insights and present strategic recommendations to HR leadership and senior management.
Partner with Finance, Operations, and department leaders to align HR data with broader organizational analytics and business objectives.
Support data integrity initiatives and establish best practices that support compliance and strategic workforce planning.
Translate complex HRIS data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.
Serve as key contributor to HRIS and related system implementation projects, including requirements gathering, data migration planning, and user training coordination.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and minimal business disruption.
Design and implement workflows and processes to maximize system capabilities and organizational efficiency; support change management initiatives to drive user adoption and system optimization.
Maintain and enhance HRIS data integrity through systematic auditing, validation, and quality control processes.
Design, build, and automate complex reports and dashboards that meet departmental goals and regulatory requirements.
Process status changes, benefits administration, and other critical HR data for assigned employee populations.
Troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
3-5 years experience in HRIS analysis or related business intelligence role
Expert user in Excel including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data modeling
Proficient using MS Word and Outlook
Experience with enterprise HRIS platforms and database management
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
Speed and accuracy with data entry/typing (45+ wpm)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present to senior leadership
Ability to build positive working relationships across organizational levels
Ability to work independently in a collaborative environment while maintaining confidentiality
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Your final compensation offer will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and licenses/certifications. The pay range is expressed as an hourly rate regardless of FLSA status. Exempt positions are paid salaried and are not subject to overtime.
