Locums - OB HospitalistLocation: Pendleton, OregonFacility: Rural Critical Access Hospital (25 beds)Licensing: Oregon license preferred, IMLC accepted Schedule / Availability
  • Shift Hours: 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)
  • Start Date: January 1
  • Coverage Needs:
  • Starting January 1: 2 locums needed, each working 10 shifts per month
  • Mid-January: 3 full-time locums needed, each working 10 shifts per month
  • Duration: Ongoing assignment Hospital Setting & Responsibilities
    • Facility Type: Rural Critical Access Hospital (no neonatal unit)
    • Support Staff: Family Birth Center nursing staff and anesthesia support
    • EMR System: Meditech
    Clinical Duties:
    • Labor and delivery
    • C-sections
    • Emergency OB/GYN care
    • Pediatric care (admitted through ER)
    • Inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN surgeries
    • Stabilize and transfer neonatal cases if needed
    Patient Volume:
    • Approximately 1-2 newborns per day (varies)
    • Around 300 total deliveries annually
    • Primarily normal deliveries and C-sections
    Licensure & Certification RequirementsBoard Certification:
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
    License:
    • Oregon state medical license preferred - site will consider non-licensed candidates for now but will need to have license started as soon as offer is accepted
    • Will accept candidates with IMLC licensure
    Required Certifications:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
    • Active DEA license
