- Shift Hours: 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)
- Start Date: January 1
- Coverage Needs:
- Starting January 1: 2 locums needed, each working 10 shifts per month
- Mid-January: 3 full-time locums needed, each working 10 shifts per month
- Duration: Ongoing assignment Hospital Setting & Responsibilities
- Facility Type: Rural Critical Access Hospital (no neonatal unit)
- Support Staff: Family Birth Center nursing staff and anesthesia support
- EMR System: Meditech
- Labor and delivery
- C-sections
- Emergency OB/GYN care
- Pediatric care (admitted through ER)
- Inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN surgeries
- Stabilize and transfer neonatal cases if needed
- Approximately 1-2 newborns per day (varies)
- Around 300 total deliveries annually
- Primarily normal deliveries and C-sections
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- Oregon state medical license preferred - site will consider non-licensed candidates for now but will need to have license started as soon as offer is accepted
- Will accept candidates with IMLC licensure
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Active DEA license
- Three full-time OB providers are leaving the facility
