Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Hospital owned multi-specialty group in northeastern Connecticut seeking Family Medicine associate. Staff consists of 1 family physician and 2 advanced practitioners who each average treating 18-24 patients per day, 4 days per week. Outpatient only but physicians have the option of doing inpatient medicine if desired. The light phone-only call schedule for weekdays is 1 in 7 and only 1 weekend every other month.

Reason to recruit: A physician in the group retired with a full practice to assume. Office schedule is 4 days per week with no in-patient or OB responsibilities. One seasoned clinician with good mentoring and teaching skills available and two experienced Christian APRNs to collaborate with. Nursing home and/or per diem hospitalist shifts optional. On-site associate professor teaching is optional for 3rd and 4th year medical students from UCONN Medical School.
