Start Date: September 15, 2025- Open dates: 9/15 8a - 9/19 8a; 11/24 8a - 11/26 8a; 12/1 8a - 12/8 8a with one week per month in 2026

Special September Incentive: Daily bonus for select September dates (9/15 9/19)
Case Mix:
Average 27 deliveries per month (approx. 11 C-sections)
Census: 1 3 deliveries per 24-hour period
Provider covers emergent vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and emergent GYN procedures
High-risk transfers sent to New Hanover Regional or Cape Fear Valley ( minutes away)
Support Staff & Services:
Hospitalist support
24/7 Anesthesiology & Radiology support
Level 1 nursery
3 labor rooms & 14 postpartum beds
EMR: MediTech 6.1
Housing: Hospital apartments adjacent to the facility
Active North Carolina License & DEA (NC address required)
NC Medicaid Credentialing and PECOS enrollment
Board Certified/Board Eligible in OBGYN
Must be actively delivering babies (case logs from the last months required)
Fully vaccinated
No open or recent malpractice cases
Must be able to respond within 20 minutes per hospital bylaws
Required:
Low-risk pregnancy management
FHR interpretation (NST, CST, FSE)- preferred
OB ultrasounds (Level I & II)- preferred
Vaginal & Cesarean deliveries
Complicated delivery management
Breech & multiple births
Repair of 3rd/4th degree lacerations
Surgical gynecology (minor & major operative procedures)
Office/minor GYN (IUD, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)
Credentialing timeframe: 14 days (temporary privileges available)
Preferred: Candidates within driving distance
