About Our Community Health Center
Our Community Health Center is a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to expanding access to healthcare in underserved areas of Louisiana. Founded in 2005, we ve grown from a five-person clinic to a network of 7 standalone clinics and 40 school-based clinics across six parishes.

In 2023, our nearly 500 employees including 36 providers in Winnfield recorded 144,000 patient visits and have served more than 850,000 patients since opening. We provide comprehensive primary care, dental, behavioral health, and specialty services, and we even offer transportation for patients to ensure they can access the care they need.


The Opportunity

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Rheumatologist to establish and lead our rheumatology program. With no current rheumatologist on staff and a strong built-in referral base from our medical clinics and school-based health programs, you ll have the opportunity to build a thriving outpatient practice quickly.

Because we are the only provider in the area accepting Medicaid patients, and with limited competition in nearby, you ll benefit from both strong patient demand.

Practice Details
  • Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm (36-hour workweek)

  • Workload: 4.5 clinic days + 0.5 administrative day (admin can be done from home)

  • Patient Volume: patients/day, with infusion patients managed by RNs

  • Procedures: Infusions and additional services as desired high volume potential

  • Call: None 100% outpatient

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $290,000 $350,000 (Flexibility for experience)

  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 $20,000 (negotiable based on experience)

  • Production Incentive: Yes based on encounters

  • Relocation: $10,000+ with receipts (negotiable)

  • Loan Repayment: NHSC and Louisiana State programs (can use sequentially)

  • PTO: 26 days (additional week after 3 years)

  • CME: 2 days + $2,000 allowance

  • Insurance: Health, dental, vision (100% employer-paid for employee; family coverage available)

  • Retirement: 401k with 4% match (after 1 year)

  • Malpractice: FTCA coverage

  • Additional: All business-related expenses covered
