We are seeking a full-time Medical Director for our Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) facility. If you are a Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician with Fellowship training or a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatric Medicine, this is an exceptional opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our senior participants.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide general medical direction and supervision of participant care.
- Oversee clinical outcomes and the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
- Develop and maintain medical policies and procedures.
- Direct and supervise Primary Care Providers (PCPs) and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop medical treatment plans.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and family conferences.
- Educate participants and their families on health maintenance and chronic conditions.
- Manage changing priorities according to participant needs.
- Participate in provider on-call rotation as required.
- Travel within the region as needed.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (REQUIRED).
- Board Certified in Geriatrics (Fellowship-trained) or Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatric Medicine (HIGHLY PREFERRED).
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with the frail or elderly population (REQUIRED).
- Previous supervisory experience (REQUIRED).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic software applications.
- Excellent organizational, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- IN medical license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED.
- Clean Malpractice history - HIGHLY PREFERRED.
- CDS Certification - REQUIRED.
- DEA Confirmation - REQUIRED.
- BLS Certification - REQUIRED.
