Future PLC
Future is looking for a commercially guided Director of Programmatic Partnerships to lead our partner management team and lead revenue growth across our portfolio of sites. You will be central to shaping our programmatic strategy, strengthening vendor relationships, and unlocking new monetization opportunities within the ad tech ecosystem. You will oversee a team of partner managers and act as Future's senior representative with SSPs, DSPs, exchanges, and technology partners.
What you'll do
You will report to the Vice President, Programmatic & Yield
Lead, coach, and scale the partner management team, driving accountability, performance, and professional growth.
Develop a programmatic strategy alongside our UK and US programmatic sales leadership that delivers sustainable revenue growth, yield improvements, and innovative monetization opportunities. Build partnerships across SSPs, DSPs, exchanges, and data providers — negotiating terms, running structured evaluations, and driving measurable return on investment.
Represent Future externally at industry events and partner meetings, enhancing visibility and strengthening our market position.
Collaborate with ad operations, sales, product, and finance teams to align programmatic projects with broader revenue goals.
Use data-driven insights to optimize performance (traffic, yield, fill) and guide decision-making.
Report on partnership performance, identifying opportunities to expand revenue and guide competitive advantage. Provide expertise on programmatic trends, including identity solutions, curation, retail media, and other merging ad tech opportunities.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
8+ years in programmatic advertising and digital media monetization, including 2+ years in a people management role. Experience driving revenue through programmatic partnerships, negotiations, and yield optimization.
Expertise in SSPs, DSPs, exchanges, and the broader ad tech ecosystem.
Externally facing; comfortable representing Future at industry events and with partners.
