We are seeking a talented and creative Production Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles.
Essential Skills
Vector Design and Editing
For creating logos, team names, and numbers that scale cleanly.
Color Management
Understanding of spot colors, Pantone, CMYK vs. RGB, and sublimation-specific color issues.
Mockup Creation
Ability to create realistic product visualizations of jerseys.
File Preparation for Production
Clean file output (cut paths, registration marks, correct resolutions, etc.).
Knowledge of Print/Decoration Techniques
Understand how designs need to be adapted for:
Sublimation
Heat press (CAD-cut vinyl, DTF, HTV)
Embroidery
Attention to Detail
Names and numbers alignment, spelling accuracy, and production spec adherence.
Communication Skills
Able to collaborate with sales and production teams.
Essential Software Knowledge
Adobe Illustrator
(must-have)
Industry standard for vector design (logos, cut paths, templates).
Adobe Photoshop
For raster editing, sublimation patterns, and mockups.
Corel DRAW
(optional, but used in some shops)
RIP Software
(if working with wide-format or sublimation printers)
Examples: Wasatch, Ergosoft, or SAi Flexi.
Silhouette Studio / Graphtec Studio / Roland Cut Studio
For preparing files for vinyl cutters/plotters.
