Staff/Principal Product Designer (UX/UI) Full Time opportunity, Office located in Mountain View, CA (100% remote considered) In this key role, you'll work closely across the org and with cross-functional teams to lead design and experience strategy that drive delightful, engaging, outcome-driven user experiences for our members. You will grow empathy for our users, innovative thinking, aligned to improving business outcomes. You will lead efforts to conceptualize and evolve new approaches to solving interconnected user journeys, that encourages positive member behavior patterns and maximizes the potential of dynamic AI powered content, sensor data, and tools to deliver a personalized program that significantly improves a user's health. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience designing and leading mobile healthcare initiatives and product areas that balance clinical data and positive behavior change related to nutrition, fitness, and related activities that promote wellness. Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with other designers, content writers, marketing, product managers, and engineers to create delightful, effective, and user-validated experiences across mobile and Lead cross-functional partners to develop concepts of varying complexing and generate new ideas and feature direction working directly with internal users Create user journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and specs that document key use cases and user stories, working with teams to determine the most effective and efficient implementation approaches and own the delivery of high quality experiences at all stages. Design refined, intuitive, and effective user experience strategies that leverage modern design techniques, while taking advantage of developments in AI/ML to streamline complex workflows and consider cross-product member journeys. Define and sell your design rationale and Conduct user research to gain insights into unmet needs, pain points, and behaviors. Use these insights to inform design decisions and improve user experiences. Align design strategies with larger business and product milestones in ways that contribute to business growth. Help to define and mature a design system and advocate for its application across different Drive a user-first mindset in everything you do, advocating and contributing to the ongoing discovery of user needs while balancing business and technical goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in design, user experience, HCI, or a related field. Strong advocate for delivering only the highest quality experience to users, but comfortable working in an agile and iterative way. Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills, as well as a portfolio that demonstrates both UX and visual design for enterprise and consumer 10+ years of UX/product design experience, with minimum 3-5 years designing user interfaces for healthcare or related products. Expertise in design systems, information architecture, design patterns, and interaction design. Experience owning end to end aspects of the experience including ensuring that copy is refined, visual and interaction design is high quality, and products are validated via user testing and iteration. Experience working with consumer-facing mobile experiences and collaborating with clinical teams and workflows strongly preferred Experience designing AI/ML and LLM augmented experiences strongly LLM prompting experience is a plus. Ability to communicate clearly with developers and understand the capabilities and constraints of native mobile design. Great eye and passion for visual design, and demonstration of well-considered interactive design. Experience leading other designers to align around a common design language and strategy.
