Summary: Join Apple’s Wireless Software group to design, develop, and patent next-generation wireless connectivity technologies (Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and more). Collaborate across departments to craft wireless solutions that enhance the customer experience with Apple products and services, and contribute to world-renowned wireless systems.
Description As part of a passionate development team, you will work on exciting features for Apple’s next-generation products. You will have opportunities to share ideas with leaders in eSIM and Telephony and contribute to shaping the future of eSIM and Telephony.
Responsibilities • Develop software for wireless connectivity features and eSIM capabilities in consumer products. • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver robust, high‑quality software for real-time systems. • Write clean, efficient, multi-threaded C/C++ code and participate in design and code reviews. • Contribute to the design and implementation of baseband/eSIM features and related standards.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience developing software in C/C++ with real-time operating systems
Proven experience writing software for multi-threaded environments
Preferred Qualifications Development experience of Baseband/eSIM features for consumer products is a plus
Understanding of ISO/3GPP/ETSI standards
Strong collaboration and clear communication with multi-functional teams
Hard-working, inquisitive, and able to solve problems in innovative ways
Positive attitude, adaptability, and results-oriented mindset
Pay & Benefits Note: Base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
