Duties
As an Administrative Legal Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Answering phones, screening calls, directing communications, and interacting with clients, and other legal professionals.
Scheduling client consultations, appointments and meetings.
Assist in managing calendars, and confirming court dates and other proceedings.
Managing the new client intake process.
Performing general clerical duties such as making copies, scanning, handling mail, and providing support for special projects.
Providing executive administrative support including data entry, clerical tasks, and phone etiquette.
Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in all interactions.
Experience
Qualified candidates should have:
Previous experience in a legal setting with a focus on areas such as estate planning, trust administration, probate, business law and litigation being advantageous.
Proficient use of various software, including Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Google Office Suite. Knowledge of Clio a plus.
Meticulous organization to manage files, calendars, and other critical information.
Clear and professional verbal and written communication for client and inter-office interaction.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
