Location: San Francisco, CA (Remote)
Duration: 6 months
Contract Type: W2 only
Pay Rate: $54.22/Hour

Job Description:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Science Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data-driven solutions that empower our organization to make informed decisions.

What You'll Do:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, provide insights, and translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Analyze business and financial data to provide actionable recommendations for automation and process improvements.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate data insights.
  • Support metrics development for key outcomes like customer retention, propensity to convert, and churn prediction.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows to support analytical and operational needs.
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated quantitative models to improve decision-making by analyzing historical data and conducting scenario analysis.

Skills:
  • Proficiency in SQL and Programming Languages: Strong experience with SQL for querying and managing data, and expertise in Python or similar programming languages for data analysis and modeling.
  • Analytical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to approach complex problems methodically, analyze data critically, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Experience with Data Visualization Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent for creating compelling and informative visualizations.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with PLG (Product-Led Growth) strategies and metrics is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and experimentation design. (optional)
