Description

Demonstrates advanced expertise in all trade disciplines, construction methods, project safety protocols, plan and specification interpretation, CPM scheduling, and reporting systems. Oversees daily field operations to ensure project milestones and final completion dates are achieved. Coordinates construction activities to ensure work is executed methodically and in alignment with contract documents and industry best practices. Establishes and maintains dimensional controls for the project, utilizing third-party survey and layout professionals when necessary. Ensures all work is performed to a high standard of craftsmanship. Secures required inspections and ensures thorough documentation of quality-related aspects of the physical work. Leads or participates in pre-construction, progress, and other project-related meetings to minimize rework and maintain alignment. Manages the punch list and project closeout process to ensure timely and complete resolution. Maintains accurate daily documentation, including timecards, field reports, schedule updates, and email correspondence.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field Superintendent in Heavy Civil Construction. Strong preference for candidates with strong underground or paving experience Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with scheduling tools, particularly Microsoft Excel and Project, is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
