Overview

Title: Unarmed Security Officer
Location: Charleston, SC
Employment type: Part-time/Flex
Pay: $19 per hour
TWIC Card required; must be able to pass a DMV check.
Shift: Friday-Sunday 2200-0600.
This position varies from 0-20 hours per week maximum. It is on call and may be suitable for individuals seeking supplemental income. Daily pay is available; get paid as soon as the NEXT DAY.

This position requires the use of a company vehicle. All applicants must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a DMV background check.

Security Officer Responsibilities

• Access control
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety
• Patrol assigned areas on foot to maintain visibility and observe potential unusual activities at client facilities
• Deterrence of theft and vandalism
• Ensure a safe and professional work environment for the client, its associates, and facility personnel
• Maintain concise and complete daily administrative documentation
• Adhere to uniform attire and grooming standards while in uniform
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications and skills

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Basic computer skills and report-writing experience
• Availability to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to handle stressful situations and emergencies

Education

Experience

• Security: 1 year
